Strawberry Trifle in glass by Spoonsparrow: We layer strawberries, mascarpone yogurt cream and sponge into a tasty dessert!

Ingredients

  • 500 g fresh strawberries
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 125 g yogurt
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • 2 tsp Bourbon vanilla powder
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp toasted almond slivers
  • 1 fresh sponge cake (ready product or 16 ladyfingers)

Instructions

    Wash, clean and quarter the strawberries.

    Whisk mascarpone with yogurt and Bourbon vanilla. Sift in powdered sugar and fold in.

    Beat whipped cream to stiff peaks.

  4. 4.

    Cut sponge cake into small pieces; break ladyfingers into thirds if desired.

    Layer strawberries, sponge, whipped cream, and mascarpone cream in 4 tall glasses. Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and chill for about an hour. Sprinkle almond slivers before serving.
