Strawberry Toast with Goat Cream Cheese

Ingredients

  • 250 g strawberries
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 4 slices whole‑grain toast
  • 2 stems basil
  • 100 g goat cream cheese
  • Pepper
  • salt (preferably flaked salt)

Instructions

    Clean, wash and finely chop the strawberries, then mix with honey. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to allow some strawberry juice to develop.

    Meanwhile, toast the bread slices. Wash the basil, pat dry, and cut the leaves into fine strips.

    Stir the goat cream cheese with 1–2 tbsp of the strawberry juice until smooth.

    Spread the goat cream cheese on the toasted bread, top with strawberries, and sprinkle with basil strips, pepper, and flaked salt.
