Strawberry Steak with Vegetables and Pasta

Ingredients
- 2 paprika peppers (red and green)
- 200 g pumpkin flesh (e.g., muskmelon)
- 1 onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 4 strawberry steaks (about 180 g each)
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 150 ml dry white wine
- 80 g black olives (pitted)
- 300 g band pasta
- 3 sprigs thyme
- 2 tbsp butter

Wash the paprika peppers, halve them, clean and dice into small cubes. Dice the pumpkin similarly. Peel the onion and garlic, finely chop both. Rinse the steak, pat dry and tie with kitchen twine. Season with salt and pepper and brown all sides in a hot pan with oil. Remove from the pan. In the same pan sauté onions, garlic, and pumpkin for 2-3 minutes. Deglaze with wine, season, and simmer for another 2-3 minutes. Add paprika cubes, drained olives, and steak to the vegetables; cover and cook over low heat for 5-6 minutes.

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente.

Remove the steak from the pan and cut off the twine. Pick a few thyme sprigs, sprinkle over the pumpkin mixture, taste, and plate with the steak. Drain the pasta, toss briefly in hot butter, lightly salt, place on top of the vegetables, and garnish with remaining thyme.
