Strawberry Melon Bowle

Ingredients

  • 17 g fruit tea (light, e.g., peach, apricot or apple, 3 tbsp)
  • 400 g Strawberries
  • 1 honeydew melon
  • 1 lemon
  • 750 ml alcohol‑free sparkling wine
  • 750 ml carbonated mineral water
  • 1 large sprig of mint

Instructions

    Pour the fruit tea with 750 ml boiling water and let it steep for about 10 minutes depending on the variety. Then cool and refrigerate.

    While the tea steeps, clean, wash, and halve the strawberries. Quarter the melon, deseed, peel, and dice it. Squeeze the lemon to extract juice.

    Combine the fruits and lemon juice in a large bowl. Pour the tea, sparkling wine, and mineral water over the fruit mixture. Chill the bowle for an additional 2–3 hours.

    Pour the chilled bowle into a glass carafe. Wash the mint sprig, pat it dry, shake off excess moisture, and use it as garnish for the drink.
