Strawberry Crumble

A delicious sweet summer dessert: Try the Strawberry Crumble from Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 150 g Spelt flour Type 1050
  • 50 g whole grain sugar
  • 150 g butter (+1 tsp for greasing ramekins)
  • 700 g strawberries
  • 1 lemon

Instructions

    Rub flour with sugar and butter to make crumbs.

    Clean, wash, and pat dry the strawberries. Depending on size halve or quarter them.

  3. 3.

    Squeeze the lemon and mix the juice with the berries. Fill four greased, oven‑proof ramekins, sprinkle crumbs over the top, and bake the strawberry crumble in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection 160°C; gas: level 2–3) for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
