Strawberry Cold Bowl
The refreshing strawberry cold bowl with yogurt from Spoonsparrow makes the decisive difference on hot summer days!
Ingredients
- 500 g strawberries
- 0.5 Vanilla pod
- 2 tbsp honey
- 0.5 small lemon
- 350 g thick milk (well chilled)
- 150 g cream yogurt (10% fat; well chilled)
- 2 tbsp apple syrup
Instructions

Wash the strawberries gently in a bowl with water. Drain on paper towels and pat dry.

Set aside some beautiful berries for garnish. Cut the remaining berries into pieces, place them in a tall vessel and blend finely.

Sift the puree through a fine sieve.

Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise. Scrape out the seeds and stir them with honey into the strawberry puree.

Squeeze the lemon. Add the juice to the thick milk, yogurt, and apple syrup in a large bowl.

Whisk vigorously with a whisk. Fold in the strawberry puree and cover for 1 hour (or longer if desired) in the refrigerator.

Halve or slice the remaining strawberries. Place the cold strawberry bowl into deep plates or bowls. Garnish with the strawberries and serve.
