Steamed Pears with Cheese

Ingredients
- 4 pears
- 3 tsp lemon juice
- 1 chili pepper
- 2 sprigs Rosemary
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 4 tsp honey
- pepper (ground)
- 2 small pomegranates
- 2 tbsp walnut kernels
- 200 g Brie cheese
Instructions

Wash the chili pepper, halve it, remove the seeds and finely chop the flesh. Pull the rosemary leaves from the stems.

Peel the pears, halve them, core them and cut into wedges. Drizzle with lemon juice.

Heat the oil. Sauté the pears, chili pieces and rosemary for 1 minute. Deglaze with 2 tbsp water and steam for another 2 minutes. Season with honey and pepper.

Coarsely chop the walnuts. Roll the pomegranates lightly on a flat surface, break them open and release the seeds. Mix nuts and pomegranate seeds into the pears, continue steaming 1-2 minutes, taste and let cool.

Slice the Brie cheese and serve alongside the compote.
