Ingredients
- 4 small apples
- 200 ml red wine
- 20 g rye bread crumbs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 75 g crème fraîche
- a few dashes lemon juice
- a pinch powdered sugar
- 250 g mature Brie cheese
Instructions

Wash the apples and cut them in half. Steam the apples in red wine for about 5-8 minutes.

Crush the rye bread crumbs finely and briefly toast them in a pan.

Stir in the heavy cream and crème fraîche, then simmer while stirring until a creamy sauce forms. Season with lemon juice and powdered sugar.

Drain the Brie cheese. Remove the apples from the red wine. Use a melon baller to hollow out a bit of each apple and spoon the Brie into the cavity. Serve together with the sauce.
