Ingredients
- 200 g Flour
- 40 g ground almonds
- 40 g ground hazelnuts
- 100 g cane sugar
- 200 g butter
- 50 g chopped almonds
- flour (for the work surface)
- 4 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp milk
- zuckerstern (for dusting)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 200°C with upper and lower heat. Mix flour, ground almonds, hazelnuts, cane sugar, and a pinch of salt. Add butter in small pieces, mix through, then knead. Stir in chopped almonds, form dough into a ball, wrap in foil, and chill for 1 hour. Roll out on floured surface to 4 mm thickness and cut star shapes with a cutter.

Place stars on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for about 12 minutes. Remove and cool. Meanwhile whisk powdered sugar with lemon juice and milk, brush over cookies, dust with sugar stars, and let dry.
