- 4 EL orange juice
- 250 g flour (type 1050)

Instructions

1.
Warm honey and oil slowly in a small pot, then pour into a bowl. Stir in the warm mixture: egg, spice blend, orange zest, and orange juice. Sift flour and cocoa with baking powder over the honey mixture, fold in, and knead. On a floured surface, knead the dough, stretch it out, and incorporate the almonds.

2.
Divide the dough in half; shape each half into 32 cm long rolls about 2.5–3 cm thick and chill for 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the rolls on the sheet and press them slightly flat. Bake for 20–25 minutes, then cool. Cut each roll into 14 triangles. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler, brush the still-warm Spitzkuchen pieces with it, and let dry.
