Ingredients

  • 2 Spring Onions
  • 2 limes (juice)
  • 2 tsp grated lime zest
  • 2 tsp freshly chopped ginger
  • 150 g yogurt
  • 100 ml milk
  • pepper (ground)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp sweet-spicy chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 800 g Spitzkohl (1 head of Spitzkohl)
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 150 g meatloaf (thin slices)
  • coriander for garnish

Instructions

    Wash and trim the spring onions, cut the light green and white parts into thin rings. Mix 2 tbsp lime juice with the lime zest, ginger, yogurt, spring onions, and milk. Season heavily with pepper, sugar, and chili sauce, then stir in the coriander. Cut the Spitzkohl lengthwise into quarters, remove the core, and slice the quarters into strips.

    With salt, knead the mixture by hand for 3 minutes. Let it rest for 30 minutes, then strain it, rinse cold, and drain well. Slice the meatloaf into thin strips and mix with the Spitzkohl in the sauce. Taste and serve sprinkled with coriander leaves.
