Ingredients

  • 300 g baby spinach
  • 4 ripe pears
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 80 g walnut kernels
  • 5 tbsp walnut oil
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • hard cheese (optional, e.g., Parmesan)

Instructions

    Wash and dry the spinach. Wash the pears, halve them, core, cut into wedges, and drizzle with lemon juice. Divide the spinach onto four plates and arrange the pear wedges, walnut kernels, and grated cheese on top.

    Make a vinaigrette from oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper, then spoon it over the salads. Serve immediately with fresh, crisp bread.
