Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 2 red chili peppers
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 400 g diced tomatoes (canned)
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 0.5 tsp dried thyme
- Salt
- Tabasco sauce
- ground pepper
Instructions

Peel and dice the onion and garlic. Wash, halve, trim, and slice the chili peppers into strips. Together with the onion and garlic, sauté in hot oil until translucent.

Add tomato paste briefly. Add tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, oregano, and thyme; stir occasionally and simmer for about 25 minutes until thickened. Then puree finely and season with salt, Tabasco sauce, and pepper. Let cool.
