Ingredients

  • 5 leaves filo dough (≈30x40 cm)
  • 40 g Butter
  • 500 g cheese (e.g., Gorgonzola, Parmesan, Ricotta, Camembert)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp freshly chopped oregano
  • Salt
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

    Brush filo dough leaves with melted butter, stack them, and line a greased rectangular pan (20x30 cm).

    Chop cheese into small pieces, blend in a mixer with eggs, fold in oregano, season with salt and cayenne pepper, then spread over the filo layers.

    Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Remove and serve immediately.
