Spicy Bean Dip

Spicy bean dip with garlic and rosemary from Spoonsparrow ✌︎ Delicious & vegan – ideal as a spread or for dipping!

Ingredients

  • 15 oz can white beans (drained)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 small lemon

Instructions

    Rinse the beans in a sieve and drain well.

  2. 2.

    Peel the garlic cloves and slice them. Wash and dry the rosemary sprig.

  3. 3.

    Heat the oil with the rosemary sprig in a pan. Fry the garlic until golden brown over low heat.

  4. 4.

    Add the beans and 50 ml of water and cook for 5 minutes over low heat. Remove the rosemary.

  5. 5.

    Put the beans in a bowl. Mash them into a puree with a potato masher. Squeeze the lemon. Season the bean cream with salt, pepper and lemon juice (as desired).
