Spiced Nuts from the Tray

Spiced nuts from the tray with honey & chili: The nuts provide plenty of vitamin E; it boosts defense against free radicals. Crunchy party food.

Ingredients

  • 200 g almonds
  • 100 g cashews
  • 100 g macadamia nuts
  • 100 g pecans
  • 2 tbsp liquid honey
  • 1 tbsp Rapeseed Oil
  • 1 dried chili pepper
  • 2 tsp paprika powder (rose hot)
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • Sea salt

Instructions

    Add almonds and all the nuts with honey and oil to a bowl and mix well.

    Crush the chili pepper, add it with paprika, curry and a pinch of salt to the nuts.

  3. 3.

    Mix very thoroughly until all nuts are coated with the spices.

  4. 4.

    Place the nuts on a sheet lined with parchment paper, roast in a preheated oven at 225 °C (fan: 200 °C, gas: level 3‑4) while turning frequently for 7–8 minutes until golden brown, remove and let cool. Serve with cocktails or wine.
