Smoked Trout Tatars with Avocado-Mango Salsa

The smoked trout tatar with avocado-mango salsa is a smart snack for our brain, thanks to healthy fatty acids.

Ingredients

  • 2 lettuce heads
  • 250 g smoked trout fillet
  • 60 g crème fraîche
  • 1 tsp wasabi paste
  • 50 ml lemon juice (juice of one lemon)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 Mango
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 bunch chives (20 g)
  • 1 tbsp grape seed oil
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (25 g)

Instructions

    Clean, wash and dry the lettuce heads, then separate individual leaves. Dice the smoked trout into small cubes and mix with crème fraîche and wasabi. Season with a little lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

    For the salsa, peel the mango, remove the flesh from the pit, and dice it into small cubes. Peel and finely dice the onion. Halve the avocado, remove the seed, scoop out the flesh, and dice it. Wash the chives, dry them, and cut into fine ribbons. Mix the chives, onions, avocado, and mango together and season with oil, remaining lemon juice, and salt.
