Ingredients

  • 24 scampi (peeled, deveined)
  • 0.5 lemon (organic)
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp liquid butter
  • 8 lemongrass stalks

Instructions

    Wash the scampi, pat dry and place in a bowl. Peel the garlic and crush slightly with the side of a knife before adding it to the scampi. Grate the lemon zest, squeeze out the juice, and mix into the scampi. Add the chili powder, season lightly with salt, and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

    Drain the scampi briefly and thread three onto each lemongrass stalk, brushing them with butter.

    Grill the skewers over low to medium heat slowly for about 7-10 minutes and serve with white bread.
