Ingredients

  • 4 plaice fillets (about 400 g each, ready to cook)
  • juice of one lemon
  • 200 g bacon
  • 200 g shrimp
  • butter (for frying)
  • oil (for frying)
  • 1 lemon
  • 0.5 bunch Parsley
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • flour (for dredging)

Instructions

  1. 1.

Dice the bacon finely. Wash and pat dry the shrimp.

  2. 2.

Wash the parsley, shake dry, and chop finely.

  3. 3.

Wash the plaice fillets, pat dry, drizzle with lemon juice, season with salt and pepper, and lightly dust with flour. In a large non-stick pan, crisp the bacon until golden, remove it, then add butter and oil to the pan and cook the plaice over medium heat for about 3 minutes on each side. Set the plaice aside warm.

  4. 4.

Add the shrimp, reserved bacon, and parsley to the pan, sauté briefly, then stir in 2–3 tablespoons of butter.

  5. 5.

Plate the plaice, spoon the bacon‑shrimp‑butter mixture over it, and garnish with lemon slices.
