Ingredients
- 8 pieces of seitan (health food store or Asian shop)
- 50 g tempeh
- 1 piece ginger
- 4 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 Egg white
- 1 Tbsp starch
- 4 red bell peppers
- 1 fresh red chili pepper
- 1 small zucchini
- 1 large carrot
- 1 small onion
- 1 bulb fennel
- sesame oil
- fish sauce
- chili powder
- vegetable broth
- Salt
- Pepper
- sugar
Instructions

Grate the tempeh and ginger finely, mix with the remaining ingredients, and marinate the seitan slices.

Clean the vegetables and cut into bite‑size pieces; dice the onion finely, wash the chili pepper, split lengthwise, deseed, remove the white membrane, and dice. Stir‑fry the vegetables in hot oil in a wok, add a splash of broth, and steam for about 5 minutes. Fry the marinated seitan slices briefly in plenty of hot oil and drain on paper towels. Season the vegetables with fish sauce, salt, pepper, and chili to taste, arrange on plates, scatter the seitan pieces over them, and serve hot.
