Ingredients

  • 1.2 kg sea buckthorn berries
  • 100 ml orange liqueur
  • 1 kg gelatin sugar

    Wash the sea buckthorn and steam it in a pot with a little water covered over low heat until the berries burst. Strain through a sieve and weigh the fruit pulp. In the same pot add the same amount of gelatin sugar and orange liqueur, bring to a boil and simmer for about 3 minutes while bubbling. Perform a gel test and then pour into prepared jars. Seal well and let cool with the lids turned downwards. Then flip again and allow to cool completely.
