Ingredients
- 300 g sauerkraut (canned)
- 1 red-skinned apple (e.g., Boskop)
- 2 stalks Parsley
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 tbsp unsalted, peeled peanuts
- 150 g plain yogurt
- 50 ml sour cream
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- a pinch sugar
- 4 slices crusty bread
Instructions

Drain the sauerkraut in a sieve.

Wash the apple, quarter it, remove the core and cut the flesh into small sticks. Rinse the parsley, shake dry, strip leaves and finely chop.

Wash the tomatoes, quarter them, seed and dice very finely.

Coarsely chop the peanuts.

Combine the sauerkraut with tomatoes, apple, parsley, nuts, yogurt and sour cream; season with salt, pepper, lemon juice and sugar.

Spread the dip on fresh crusty bread and serve.
