Ingredients

  • 150 g white beans (canned)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 150 g sauerkraut
  • 0.25 tsp herb salt
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 0.25 tsp caraway seeds
  • a pinch of nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp quark
  • 2 tbsp fruit vinegar
  • 3 tbsp horseradish (fresh grated or jarred)

Instructions

    Drain the beans, then puree them.

    Peel and finely dice the onions; sauté in butter until translucent. Finely chop the sauerkraut, add it to the onions and cook briefly. Combine everything with the bean purée and season with salt, paprika, caraway, nutmeg, quark, vinegar, and horseradish, tasting as you go.
