Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce as desired (e.g., Batavia)
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 Shallot
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 400 g ground meat (mixed)
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp clarified butter
  • 1 tsp chili peppers
  • 200 g Sour Cream
  • 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 carrot (julienned)
  • Gouda (julienned) for garnish

Instructions

    Wash the lettuce, dry it and tear into bite-sized pieces. Peel the onion and shallot, quarter them and cut into strips.

    Dust the meat with flour, mix lightly and brown in hot clarified butter until crumbly; add the onion and shallot strips and cook briefly, then set aside.

    Wash the tomatoes, halve them, remove the stem, deseed if desired, and dice; mix with the lettuce. Distribute the salad onto bowls.

    Combine all dressing ingredients, season, and place into small bowls. Spread the meat over the salad, garnish with carrot and Gouda julienne, serve with homemade taco chips and dressing.
