Ingredients

  • 1 small head iceberg lettuce
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 4 Spring Onions
  • 500 g Lamb mince
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped mint
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 tbsp sesame oil
  • 75 ml dry white wine
  • 100 g feta cheese (finely diced)

    Split the salad into leaves, wash and pat dry. Halve the bell pepper, deseed, wash and dice finely. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Wash and trim the spring onions; remove the long green parts and blanch them for 1-2 minutes in boiling water, drain, shock in cold water, pat dry and set aside. Finely chop the white and light green parts of the spring onions. Mix the mince with the chopped spring onions, garlic, and mint, seasoning well with salt and pepper.

    Heat a wok or skillet, add 2 tbsp oil and stir‑fry the minced mixture until crumbly. Remove the meat. Reheat the wok, add remaining oil and sauté the bell pepper cubes for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the mince again, pour in wine, reduce slightly, then fold in feta cheese and adjust seasoning.
