Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 75 g pickled cucumber (pickled)
- 600 g beef fillet (ready to cook)
- 1 tbsp plant oil
- Salt
- pepper (ground)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 250 ml Beef broth
- 200 g Sour Cream

Peel the onions, drain the cucumbers well and dice both finely. Wash the meat, pat dry, trim and cut into 1.5 cm wide strips. Heat oil in a pan and sear the meat strips all around until browned. Season with salt and pepper, remove from pan. In the same pan sauté the onion with butter. Sprinkle flour, let it brown slightly, then deglaze with broth.

Whisk well to avoid lumps. Fold in the cucumbers and simmer over medium heat while stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes until thickened. Stir in sour cream, taste again and serve with the beef strips. Optionally serve with fried potatoes.
