Meat Rice Balls

Ingredients

  • 200 g basmati rice
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 400 g ground pork
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • Cayenne pepper
  • dried goji berries (for garnish)

Instructions

    Rinse the rice and drain. Bring about 350 ml water with 2 tbsp soy sauce to a boil. Add the rice, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes until almost cooked. Let cool uncovered.

    Place the ground pork in a bowl. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Mix the ginger into the pork and season with soy sauce and cayenne pepper. Form small balls from the mixture and coat them in the rice. Press firmly and place on a steamer rack. Cover and steam for about 10 minutes until cooked.

    Serve each ball garnished with a goji berry.
