Ingredients

  • 0.5 bundle arugula (≈50 g)
  • 0.5 cucumber
  • 2 tbsp horseradish (fresh grated or jarred)
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 8 slices whole‑grain toast (deboned)

Instructions

    Wash, trim, and remove the tough stems of the arugula. Roughly chop it.

    Peel the cucumber and slice thinly or shave into ribbons. Whisk cream cheese with horseradish until smooth, seasoning with salt and pepper.

    Toast the bread. Spread the cream‑horseradish mixture on slices, top half with cucumber strips and arugula, cover with remaining bread, press lightly, then cut diagonally. Arrange on plates and serve.
