Roasted Pears with Blue Cheese

Ingredients

  • 4 small pears
  • 0.5 lemon (juice)
  • 100 g blue cheese (e.g., Gorgonzola)
  • 40 g almond flakes

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C fan.

    Wash the pears, halve them and use a melon baller to remove the core. Brush the pear halves with lemon juice and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Roast in the oven for about 10 minutes. Use a small knife to test if the pears are slightly soft; if not, roast for an additional 5 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the cheese into eight pieces. Place them in the hollows of the pears and sprinkle with almond flakes. Roast again for about 5 minutes until the cheese has melted.
