Ingredients
- 6 large slices of bread (as desired, e.g., whole wheat, sliced or ciabatta)
- olive oil (for frying)
- 1 small tomato
- 500 g mixed cherry tomatoes (red, yellow, small, large)
- 1 shallot (finely chopped)
- 0.5 bunch of chervil (the leaves)
Instructions

Crisp the bread slices in a large skillet with a little olive oil on both sides.

Cut the tomato in half and rub the cut side against the bread slice, so it is lightly coated with tomato juice and pulp.

Halve the cherry tomatoes and briefly sauté them with the shallot in 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then spread over the bread slices.

Sprinkle the bruschetta with chervil leaves, season with salt and pepper, and serve warm or lukewarm.
