- 2 onions
- 1 tbsp plant oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar

- plant oil (for grilling)
- 500 g ground beef

Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings. Gently steam in hot oil until softened, then deglaze with balsamic vinegar, sprinkle sugar, and caramelize.
-
2.
Halve the rolls. Wash the lettuce leaves, dry, and cut into fine strips. Slice the tomatoes after removing the stem ends.
-
3.
Preheat the grill and brush it with oil.
-
4.
Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, mix well, shape into four patties, and grill one side for about 4 minutes. Add a slice of cheddar to each patty and grill another 4 minutes. Assemble the burgers by layering lettuce, tomato slices, patties, and caramelized onions on the rolls, close with the tops, and serve immediately.
