Ingredients
- 0.5 head red cabbage
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 Apples
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
- 1 Shallot
- 100 ml red wine
- 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar
- 100 ml apple juice
- 1 tsp Honey
- 1 tsp Caraway seeds
- Salt

Clean the red cabbage and cut into strips or shave.

Wash the apples, quarter them, core them, and slice thinly. Drizzle with lemon juice.

Dice the shallot finely.

Sauté the shallot in hot oil until translucent. Add honey and caraway seeds, then deglaze with apple juice and red wine. Add the cabbage, cover, and simmer gently for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Finally add the apple slices and let stand uncovered for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and serve.
