Ingredients
- 1 ready-made sponge cake base
- 2 oranges
- 1 mandarin
- 2 Kiwis
- 150 g apricots
- 0.25 l milk
- 0.5 Vanilla pod
- 3 egg yolks
- 75 g sugar

Peel the oranges and cut them crosswise into slices; peel the mandarin, separate the segments, and slice the kiwis. Scrape the seeds from the vanilla pod and bring with the milk to a boil, letting it steep for 10 minutes. Whisk the egg yolks with sugar until frothy, then slowly pour in the milk while whisking constantly. Heat everything under constant stirring until the cream thickens. Immediately place the pot into cold water and stir occasionally with a whisk.

Fill the cake base with the cooled cream, smooth it out, and arrange the drained fruit decoratively on top of the cream. Serve immediately.
