Ingredients

  • 0.25 l heavy cream
  • 400 g dark chocolate
  • 50 g hazelnuts (ground)
  • 50 g almonds (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp rum
  • chocolate sauce
  • 150 g dark couverture chocolate
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • marzipan sheet (and berries for garnish)

Instructions

    Heat the cream and melt the chocolate in it, then let cool. Mix in the nuts, cocoa powder, and rum; refrigerate until firm. Scoop with a tablespoon, shape between hands, and return to the fridge.

    For the sauce, heat cream again and stir in chopped chocolate until smooth; allow to cool.

    Spread the chocolate sauce on a plate, place the chocolate balls on top, dust with powdered sugar, and serve decorated with marzipan as desired.
