Ingredients

  • 250 g low‑fat quark
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp semolina
  • 2 heaping tbsp breadcrumbs
  • Salt
  • 300 g Strawberries
  • sugar
  • Lemon juice
  • 70 g butter
  • 25 g sugar
  • 20 g breadcrumbs
  • 20 g ground almonds
  • cinnamon (1 pinch)
  • anise (1 pinch)

Instructions

    Combine all dough ingredients with a pinch of salt and let rest for 30 minutes. Shape dumplings with wet hands and cook in lightly simmering water for about 12–15 minutes.

    Wash, clean, and puree strawberries; season with lemon juice and sugar.

    Brown butter, then add remaining ingredients.

    Spread strawberry sauce on plates, place dumplings on top, and sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over them.
