Simple but delicious! The pumpkin with ginger from Spoonsparrow has a slightly spicy note and gets the metabolism going!

Ingredients

  • 0.5 Muskatkürbis (about 1.2 kg)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 piece ginger (about 2 cm)
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • coarse Sea salt
  • ground pepper

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C fan. Peel the pumpkin and scrape out the seeds and fibrous interior with a spoon. Cut the flesh into 3 cm wide strips. Peel and roughly chop the garlic and ginger. Remove needles from the rosemary and roughly chop them.

    Spread half of the olive oil on a baking tray and arrange the pumpkin strips on it. Mix the herbs and spices with the remaining oil and drizzle over the pumpkin strips. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until the pumpkin is tender, turning once or twice. Pumpkin with ginger makes a great side dish for meat and fish.
