Cauliflower baked with breadcrumbs from Spoonsparrow is not only tasty for vegetarians. A delicious side dish for dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg cauliflower (1 head)
  • Salt
  • 30 g Parmesan cheese (1 piece)
  • 60 g liquid butter
  • 40 g whole wheat breadcrumb crumbs
  • black pepper

Instructions

    Clean and wash the cauliflower, then separate into individual florets. In a pot bring water to a boil, add salt, and cook the cauliflower for 6–8 minutes until slightly firm.

    Meanwhile grate the Parmesan cheese and mix with the butter and breadcrumbs, seasoning with salt and pepper.

    Drain the cauliflower well and place it in a baking dish. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over it and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan: 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) for about 10–15 minutes until golden brown.
