Pumpkin Spice Latte

The Pumpkin Spice Latte from Spoonsparrow is a healthy version of the American classic.

Ingredients

  • 150 ml milk (1.5% fat)
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp nutmeg powder
  • a pinch cloves powder
  • 1 tbsp fine pumpkin puree (30 g; see Spoonsparrow tip)
  • 1-2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 double espresso (freshly brewed)
  • 1 cinnamon stick (for garnish)
  • 3 coffee beans (for garnish)

Instructions

    Warm the milk with spices, pumpkin puree and maple syrup over medium heat, then froth it. Pour about half into a tall glass.

    Carefully add the espresso. Then spoon the remaining pumpkin milk on top. Garnish the Pumpkin Spice Latte with a cinnamon stick and coffee beans.
