Ingredients

  • 250 ml buttermilk (with butter flakes)
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 fully ripe avocado
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 tbsp apple syrup
  • 1 tsp horseradish (jar)
  • Salt
  • freshly ground pepper

Instructions

    Cut the lime in half, slice a thin wedge from each half and set aside for garnish. Squeeze the rest of the lime.

    Halve the avocado, remove the pit and scoop out the flesh.

    Add avocado, horseradish, milk, lime juice and apple syrup to a blender and puree. Stir in buttermilk by hand and season the drink with salt. Pour into glasses and stick one lime wedge on each rim. Sprinkle the drink with crushed pepper before serving. Fresh rye bread pairs well.
