Ingredients

  • 5 marmalade jars (with twist-off lids 350 g each)
  • 500 g apples (peeled, core removed, diced)
  • 500 g pumpkin flesh (seedless, peeled, diced)
  • 1 kg gelatin sugar
  • 100 ml lemon juice
  • 1 stick cinnamon

    Mix apple and pumpkin cubes with the gelatin sugar and let sit overnight. Then add lemon juice and the cinnamon stick, bring to a boil in a pot while stirring, and simmer for 4 minutes until sparkling.

    Remove from heat, discard the cinnamon stick, and immediately fill the prepared jars. Seal tightly and place lids on top; let cool for about 15 minutes, then invert and allow to cool completely.
