Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 kg mostly firm boiling potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g flour
  • Salt
  • ground pepper
  • oil (for frying)

Instructions

    Peel and finely grate the onion. Peel, wash, and grate the potatoes raw. Drain excess liquid, then carefully mix in the egg and flour. Season generously with salt and pepper. Heat plenty of oil in a pan. For each pancake press 2-3 tablespoons of dough flat and fry on both sides until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper and keep warm in the oven, separated by butter paper, until all pancakes are ready.
