Ingredients
- 600 g starchy potatoes
- Salt
- 200 g sheep cheese
- 2 Eggs
- 3 tbsp cornmeal
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 2 Tbsp softened butter
- Pepper
- Nutmeg (freshly grated)
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions

Peel the potatoes and cook in salted water for about 30 minutes. Drain, press through a potato masher, and let steam off.

Mash the sheep cheese with a fork and combine with eggs, cornmeal, baking powder, parsley, and butter, adding to the mashed potatoes.

Mix into a well-formed dough; add more flour if needed. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Using a tablespoon, scoop portions of the mixture, drop them into hot oil, and fry 4–5 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
