A refreshing pomegranate smoothie! Two benefactors unite to form a dream-team smoothie: cranberries and pomegranate seeds bursting with healing plant compounds.
Ingredients
- 1 Pomegranate
- 100 g cranberries
- 150 g Yogurt (1.5% fat)
- liquid sweetener (optional)
- 250 ml milk (1.5% fat)
- Ice cubes

Cut a wedge-shaped piece from the base of the pomegranate. Then break the fruit over a bowl with some pressure, so most seeds fall out. If needed, work with thin rubber or disposable gloves: the juice stains strongly.

Set aside about 1 tablespoon of pomegranate seeds. Put the rest with the cranberries and yogurt in a tall container and blend finely with an immersion blender.

Taste the smoothie with optional sweetener, add milk and ice cubes, and blend again briefly. Pour into two glasses and garnish with the remaining pomegranate seeds.
