Ingredients
- 750 g flour
- 200 g sugar
- 125 g honey
- 375 ml milk
- 150 ml oil
- 2 packets baking powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp gingerbread spice
- 75 g nuts (optional)
- 75 g coarsely chopped dried fruit (e.g., plums)
- butter (and flour for the pan)
Instructions

Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix. Warm the milk slightly and dissolve the honey in it. Add the honey‑milk mixture and oil to the dry ingredients and whisk thoroughly.

Grease a loaf pan with butter and dust with flour. Pour the batter into the pan and bake at 180 °C (convection) for about 45–60 minutes, checking with a toothpick. Remove from oven, turn out onto a rack, and let cool.
