Plum Walnut Jam

Ingredients

  • 1 kg plums
  • juice of one lemon
  • 100 g walnuts (coarsely chopped)
  • 1 kg invert sugar (1:1)

Instructions

    Toast the walnuts in a dry pan until fragrant, then remove and let cool.

    Wash, pit, and quarter the plums. Mix with sugar and lemon juice, bring to a boil while stirring. Cook for 5 minutes, then perform a gel test and add the walnuts. Transfer to prepared jars.
