Ingredients
- 150 g wild rice
- Salt
- 300 g plaice fillet
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 Garlic clove
- 2 tbsp finely chopped basil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- pepper (ground)
Instructions

Wash the wild rice in a sieve under running water, then bring 500 ml of water and ½ tsp salt to a boil and simmer covered for 1 hour over low heat.

Cut the plaice fillets into portions, drizzle with lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

Peel the garlic and press it through a press.

Sauté the fish with garlic in oil over medium heat briefly on both sides. Stir basil, butter, and cream into the cooked rice and warm everything together for about 1 minute while stirring. Season the wild rice with salt and pepper and serve immediately with the fish pieces.
