Ingredients
- 400 g wild rice
- 4 pieces salmon fillet (about 180 g each)
- 1 chili pepper
- 2 cm ginger
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 tsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 0.5 bunch Thai basil (cut into strips)
- 2 Spring Onions
- 4 tbsp peanut oil
- Salt

Cook wild rice according to package instructions.

Wash salmon, pat dry with paper towel.

Wash chili pepper, trim and slice into rings.

Peel ginger and finely chop.

Peel garlic and also finely chop.

Wash spring onions, trim, finely chop and slowly brown in 2 tbsp hot oil until golden. Remove from heat, mix in chili, ginger, garlic, honey, soy sauce, and Thai basil.

Lightly salt salmon and sear in remaining oil for about 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Set aside to rest.
