Ingredients

  • 0.5 cube yeast (21 g)
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • flour (for the work surface)
  • 450 g diced tomatoes (canned)
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 300 g sausages (e.g., chorizo)
  • 300 g cocktail tomatoes
  • 150 g Mushrooms
  • 100 g grated cheese (e.g., Gouda)

Instructions

  1. 1.

Dissolve the yeast in 200 ml lukewarm water for the dough. Mix the flour with the salt, place in a bowl, press a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and oil. Knead into a smooth dough by hand or with the mixer attachments of an electric hand mixer. If the dough is too dry, add a little more lukewarm water; if it’s too wet, incorporate more flour. Knead vigorously on a floured surface and cover to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.

  2. 2.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with both fan and top heating. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. 3.

Knead the dough again briefly, roll it out and lay it on the prepared baking sheet.

  4. 4.

For the topping mix the tomatoes with oregano, salt and pepper. Peel and finely chop the garlic and add it. Spread the tomato mixture evenly over the dough.

  5. 5.

Slice the sausage slightly diagonally. Wash and quarter the cocktail tomatoes. Clean the mushrooms and slice them. Arrange all ingredients evenly on the pizza and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown. Remove, cut into pieces and serve.
