Pineapple with Caramel Sauce

Fresh pineapple topped with a rich caramel drizzle for a tropical treat.
Ingredients
- 1 large pineapple
- 100 g brown candied sugar
- 1 dried chili pepper

Peel the pineapple and remove all black "eyes". Use an avocado or pineapple corer to hollow out the core. Slice the pineapple into 12 rounds and arrange them on a plate.

Place the candied sugar and chili in a mortar and crush finely. Sprinkle the sugar over the pineapple slices and flame it with a kitchen torch until the sugar turns light brown caramel. Serve immediately.
