Pineapple Jam

Ingredients

  • 1 pineapple
  • Apple juice as needed (clear)
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 500 g gelatin sugar (2:1)

Instructions

    Peel, quarter, remove core of the pineapple and dice the fruit into small cubes.

    Weigh the diced fruit and add apple juice to bring the total weight up to 1 kg. Transfer to a pot, add lemon juice and cloves, then stir in the gelatin sugar. Bring to a boil while stirring. Let it bubble for about 4 minutes (gel test).

    Fill prepared jars with the jam and seal immediately. Allow to cool.
